Practice Description
I am recently retired from private practice and out-patient Oncology at Stanford Health Care - ValleyCare. In both settings I worked with individual clients and small groups. The goal was to empower each person to manage fatigue, anxiety, stress, and/or pain during their health/illness continuum by offering "tools" or modalities of their choice. After treatment the focus often shifted to wellness practices. Coaching techniques were used to assist each person in choosing the appropriate care. Mindfulness and Healing Touch were also used along with the Integrative Imagery. Individual care and weekly group sessions were provided for the staff using Guided Imagery and Mindfulness to manage stress. It was an honor to support these patients and fellow staff for the past ten years. I will always be "a nurse" and use Imagery for myself, family, and friends as a powerful support and source of wisdom and joy through life.
