The therapeutic tools in Cognitive Therapy, primarily examining negative behaviors and the thinking that caused the problem, are very limited. By discounting both the importance of the unconscious mind and the past, or source experiences that have caused the problem, clients are not offered the full range of tools at their disposal for healing and making change.

This 1.5 hour webinar, based on Nicholas Brink's book “Applying the Constructivist Approach to Cognitive Therapy: Resolving the Unconscious Past," will examine ways to access the unconscious for healing through dreams, guided imagery, imagination, hypnosis and ecstatic trance. We will also explore two ways to resolve the problems that grew out of the past using analytic hypnotherapy and ecstatic soul retrieval.

1.5 Contact Hours is approved as follows:

Provider approved by the California Board of  Registered Nursing (provider #16504) for 1.5 Contact Hours. This course meets the qualifications for 1.5 hours of continuing education credit for LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs and/or LEPs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
