  Your Life Makes Sense: An Introduction to Family Constellations using Guided Imagery
  

  Whether or not you are in a healing profession, Family Constellations allow us to see what blocks us – to name and make sense of unwanted patterns of behavior. This gives us choice and agency so we are called by our love instead of pushed by our trauma.

  Like tree rings on a tree, constellations show us the 3-d images of the epigenetic markers of our ancestral lines, and how they inhabit our bodies.

  In this informal workshop, you will:

  • Learn the basics of constellations
  • Experience a personal constellation through guided imagery, where you get a direct sense of being “in the field”
  • Witness or participate in a group constellation as a “representative” or a client

  There is no pre-requisite for participating in this mystical process. Simply bring yourself and your willingness to be moved by the universal life force energy of the field, and learn how your life makes sense.

   Friday, October 25-Sunday, October 27, 2024  

  The 16th Annual Conference which will be held virtually on the Zoom Platform.

  Imagery International is excited to announce our theme, Birthing a New World with Imagery.  

  The Imagery International Conference brings together diverse imagery practitioners from various fields to share how they use imagery in their work, as it relates to each year's theme. Past presenters have included nurses, therapists, curanderas, artists, shamans, movement professionals, coaches and others. Shared practices ranged from guided, interactive, integrative imagery to hypnotherapy, dream tending, depth psychology, storytelling, movement experiences and more.

  What do the words, Birthing” or “A New World” evoke for you? If you are inspired, we invite you to submit a proposal to share your imagery experience and practices in a workshop at this year’s conference.

  To be considered, your workshop presentation must:

  • Align with our conference theme.
  • Include a course outline which reflects the use of both experiential activities and lecture, with the emphasis on experiential.
  • Fit within a 90-minute total timeframe, including 15 minutes for audience Q&A at the end. (Your presentation will be 75 minutes.)
  • Please note: All parts of the application must be completed when submitted. Otherwise, the proposal will not be considered.

  The proposal deadline is May 10, 2024. However, the earlier we receive your proposal the better!

  From near and far, we will gather to honor the true meaning of the season, to hold the Light in the Dark, and harmonize with the Natural Rhythm of Winter. 

  In our time together we will:

  • Create a Sacred Space
  • Set out the essential aspects of this Season
  • Participate in a Guided Imagery to visit an internal place of Respite and be nourished by the restorative Yin energy of the Feminine
  • Complete with a Candle Lightening so we can all hold the LIGHT in the darkness. (Please have a candle with you; even a tea candle or a battery powered one) 

  You are welcome to bring a poem, a blessing or a brief writing to share (completely optional).
