Using Imagery to Erase Limiting Beliefs from the Subconscious Mind and Manifest your Ideal Future
with Emma Ludlum

In this presentation, Emma Ludlum will share the technique of Timeline Therapy and how to use imagery to change neural patterns, releasing limiting beliefs. She will provide a demonstration and share her own journey of release and the ripple effect of positive change she has experienced. Have you ever set a goal and not been able to achieve it, such as an exercise routine, or a weight loss plan? These experiences could be related to limiting beliefs in the subconscious that drive actions. 1.5 CEs

About: Emma Ludlum describes herself as a happiness coach and coaches clients using NLP, Timeline Therapy, hypnotherapy and mental fitness. She is the owner of Vibrant Neurology Coaching in San Francisco. Emma has written on the philosophy, psychology and the neuroscience of happiness. Resolving Conflict via the Imaginal Personification of Drama Triangle Roles
with Vicky Jo Varner, PhD

Many people are familiar with the Drama Triangle, a social model of human interaction (possibly archetypal) that originated in Transactional Analysis. The Triangle maps a type of destructive interaction that can occur among people in conflict. Participants in a Drama Triangle inhabit the roles of “Persecutor,” “Victim,” and “Rescuer,” and take turns occupying these roles.

In this session, Vicky Jo Varner will explore the Drama Triangle and its antidote, “The Empowerment Dynamic” also called “TED” in some detail. There will be experiential sessions for each following each lecture. 1.5 CEs

About: Vicky Jo Varner holds a PhD in Depth Psychology (with an emphasis on Jungian and Archetypal studies). She is a certified Guided Imagery practitioner and uses active imagination with her clients. She conducts soul coaching and shadow work, emphasizing the stimulus of creative and imagistic insights with her clients. She is interested in processes that support individuals undergoing transformation, whether via guided imagery, dialogical personification, or coaching. She has an abiding interest in the work of C.G. Jung—from typology to synchronicity and everything in between. She currently serves as Senior Editor for Psychological Perspectives, an academic, peer-reviewed journal affiliated with the Los Angeles Jung Institute.

Zines: Myth, Memoir, and Image
with Laurel Bergsten, M.A

The Zine offers a unique opportunity for expression using images and words. This process provides an outlet for the voices of marginalized people, as well as to share pain with a community, thus an important healing process. Using simple tools like cheap paper, cut-images, and any writing utensil, the Zine allows for un-polished and spontaneous production. This workshop will explore the unique intersection of narrative and image, as well as Zine history, (which is subversive) aesthetic dimensions, and visual storytelling. Laurel will share a few examples made by her, and from her collection. She will then lead a simple Zine workshop, sharing tools and tricks of Zine-making. 1.5 CEs

About: Laurel Bergsten, M.A., is a current PhD candidate at Pacifica Graduate Institute in the Mythology and Depth Psychology program. Her dissertation work will focus on the aesthetic expressions of Soul and Heart. Laurel is a writer and an artist, exploring varied avenues of creative expression, with the goal of bringing heart-led creative workshops to young adults.
